We fell in love with Costa Rica — and especially Nosara — nine years ago, when my wife and I came here while she was pregnant. Since then, it’s become a second home. Every winter, we trade the snowy lakes of Muskoka, Canada, for sunny surf and the golden light of Guanacaste.

 

As a wedding filmmaker, this place feels like a dream. The colors, the textures, the ocean — it’s cinematic magic. I joke that I could drop my camera and still capture a perfect shot… though I promise I won’t test that theory.

 

Back home, I film weddings in the lakes and forests of cottage country. Here, I bring that same calm, cinematic approach — blending natural beauty with genuine emotion.
